In the wake of the horrific events of October 7th, our shul stepped up to the plate, embodying the very essence of who we are as a community. Our synagogue became the primary location in Los Angeles for delivering and distributing supplies and gear donated to IDF soldiers and displaced families in Israel. We organized shipments via plane and ship to ensure that these essential items reached the right hands swiftly and effectively.

In addition to material support, we collected and distributed hundreds of thousands of dollars in donations to aid and rebuild the communities in Southern Israel. Our efforts extended beyond financial and material contributions; we organized two Israel mission trips for our members to visit Israel in its hour of need. Those on the mission volunteered their time and resources wherever needed and provided comfort to those affected by the October 7th massacre. This outstanding response reflects the core values and spirit of our community, demonstrating our unwavering commitment to stand with and support our brothers and sisters in Israel during their time of need.
